NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – Four firefighters were injured in the fire on Monday night Greenwich village.
The crew responded to a five-story mixed-use building at 142 Bleecker St.. just before 6 pm.
FDNY Officials said the fire was under control around 8:30 p.m.
A firefighter was severely injured but not in danger of his life. The remaining three wounded firefighters suffered minor injuries.
There was no immediate information available about the cause of the fire.
