4 secret strategies for controlling your day

Do you feel the swamp? Overwhelmed? Exhausted? Are you taking on the responsibilities of business, home and everything else pouring over your head? You’re not alone. These are weird times for businessmen and intrapreneurs too, especially because the boundaries between agency and home are distorted. Do not despair. Here are four secret strategies you can use to help control your day:

  1. Process “meh” first. Right. I already said it. Go find “meh” before anything else. The first step at the start of your day is to get rid of the mundane early. You know, the things you quit doing because you didn’t like them or they were boring. However, if you do them first, you will get rid of some of the lingering stress on your head and make those projects successful. The idea here is to remove them from your mental checklist (you’ll feel lighter in doing so) and put your day into motion.
  2. Learn to say no! Writing too much can be a big part of the problem. You can’t do it all, and that’s okay. Teach yourself to feel more comfortable speaking Are not for things you don’t have time for or just don’t want to do. If you don’t feel it, it makes no sense to you personally or does not match your career goals, deny it by politely refusing (and don’t feel bad either. about that).
  3. Neglect guilt. Why do we always feel guilty about something? There is both social guilt – the guilt imposed on us by society and those in our circles – and the personal guilt imposed on us by ourselves. Have we done enough? Not enough? Do we have too much fun? Not happy enough? Spend good time with our friends, family or partners? Don’t hit me anymore. You are not a superhero. There’s no such thing as perfect and no one has enough time to do everything they want (no one!), So keep yourself out of trouble.
  4. Maintain a point of view and treat yourself. Train yourself to look at the big picture as well as day by day. Did you do everything you planned? Good. Reward yourself for your efforts. Go for a walk, reward yourself with a spa visit or cupcake, or just patting yourself on the back. Your memories will help you be more productive. Work smarter (not harder) to get what you want in life.

The bottom line of controlling your date is that it begins with friend. That’s right, you’re in the driver’s seat here. Nobody (and I mean no one) Others will worry about it for you.
