Add this mood-enhancing nutrient to your diet, says one MD

Folate can be found in dark green leafy vegetables, like kale, spinachand revamping greens, according to Naidoo. It is also found in most other green vegetables, like broccoli, and asparagus okra.

Along with vegetables, folate is found in lentils, green bean, beef liverand some fruits, like oranges and mango, to name a number.

If you don’t find folate on any of your nutrition labels, don’t worry – it might be listed as vitamin B9 or folic acid instead.
