KINGSTON, NH (CBS) – A “big blast” rocked areas south of New Hampshire and northern Massachusetts at around 7pm Tuesday. Some on social media said they think a tree has fallen or an earthquake occurred. It turns out that the blast came from a sex disclosure party.
Kingston Police responded to Torromeo Industries on Dorre Street for investigation. They have found that the earth-shaking blast was caused by an explosion with a mass of about 80 pounds of Tannerite, which police deemed an over-the-counter “target blast” used to practice guns.
The explosion was so loud that it was recorded on a doorbell camera.
“A Kingston Police detective met with on-site individuals who collaborated with the detective and informed him they were having a sex disclosure party,” police said in a statement. An announcement. “During the investigation, the detective was told that the site, a quarry, had been chosen because they felt it was a safe location to detonate Tannerite.”
People living nearby said it rocked their neighborhood.
Tina Bouraphael, who was exercising, said: “It was just an explosion and a loud, loud bang, it just shook my eaves. “It’s really powerful.”
It shook her floor, she said, causing many cracks. “Yeah, the word ridiculous comes to mind, it’s unbelievable,” said Bouraphael.
Neighbor Sara Taglieri said: “Sexual disclosure is not only heard throughout the neighborhood but also in many towns. “I’m not sad about being blown away by chalk or confetti, I mean it was an explosion that shook my house, my neighbors, my community and my town. Just completely superior, ridiculous. “
Police said the man who bought and detonated the Tannerite confessed and is cooperating. Investigators are still determining what charges could be brought against him.
“I think they have to be held accountable for that and I think Torromeo as the property owner who allowed this is also responsible,” says Taglieri.
There have been no reports of any injuries in this case. But there has been a series of tragedies blamed on faulty gendering devices in recent years, CBS News report.
And for those who are wondering. . . it’s a boy.
