Canada Pacific welcomes STB’s approval to merge with Kansas City

(Reuters) – The Pacific Ocean is part of Canada (NYSE 🙂 Railway Ltd welcomes the decision of the US Surface Transport Commission (STB) to approve the merger with Kansas City Southern (NYSE 🙂 on Saturday.

The two companies will proceed to register under the standards in STB’s major pre-2001 merger rules, according to a Canadian Pacific statement.

STB approved the merger of the two companies on Friday.
