Hello!
The clear skies gave way to overnight clouds and there could be afternoon showers before some afternoon thunderstorms. Temps drop to the 60s tomorrow and the sky is cloudy at dawn.
The hurricane current developed west of the area around noon, then passed through NJ and then to LNYC and LI until around 10:00, finally exiting the east end. Strong winds also accompany the front.
We can expect strong winds for around 24 hours with gusts of wind reaching a peak of nearly 50 MPH on Thursday afternoon.
Temps also plummeted on Thursday morning. The wind will be chilly in the 20s around the area! Bundle up!
