Coinbase COIN stock reference price is set to just $ 250, when 1,700 employees receive free stock

Major US exchange Coinbase COIN received its reference price of $ 250 from the Nasdaq, prior to its highly anticipated live listing on the stock exchange just hours from now.

The price is much lower than the current pre-FTX transaction price of $ 600, despite the thin 24-hour trading volume under $ 4 million.
