LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) – The Federal Bureau of Investigation on Friday is investigating after a man allegedly tried to break into the cockpit on a flight from Los Angeles International Airport.
According to authorities, Delta Flight 386 was en route to Nashville. Video from the flight shows flight attendants and passengers struggling with the man, tying and restraining him.

After the man was brought under control and the crew was able to get the remaining passengers to their seats, the pilots made an emergency landing in Albuquerque, where the passengers were detained. The FBI Albuquerque said in a tweet that there is no threat to the public.
Passengers, including TOGETHXR’s chief content officer, Jessica Robertson, took to social media to share their experiences on the flight. She called the situation “scary,” but flight attendant Christopher Williams “acted quickly” to bring the situation under control.
