Ethereum ETFs are here, building the case for the US to approve BTC and ETH funds
Unlike its southern neighbor that continues to delay, Canada appears to be keeping a quick eye on crypto assets – which was evident again last week when they gave the regulatory green light to three new Ether (ETHexchange-based fund, first in North America.
“Having an easy-to-access ETF in Canada will change the competitive landscape,” Campbell Harvey, professor of international business at the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University, told Cointelegraph. Harvey said the US Securities and Exchange Commission will feel pressure to soon approve a crypto-based ETF, perhaps within a few months.
