March 5, 2021: Documentary screening TRY

Shown through the eyes of three stray dogs in Istanbul, TRY explore the meaning of living as an entity without status or security. Zeytin, Nazar and Kartal seek food and shelter in their journey through Turkish society, offering viewers an unfinished portrait of human life and dog culture. The distinct lives of Zeytin, Nazar, and Kartal intersect as they form close ties with a group of Syrian youths that share their paths. These stray gazes serve as windows to the neglected corners of society: women in loveless marriages, unarmed protesters, refugees nowhere formal. The film is an important observation of human civilization through the alien gaze of dogs and a sensory journey into new perspectives. Directing and Production Elizabeth worried.
