MILAN (Reuters) – Former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi was hospitalized from Tuesday afternoon for a health check, two sources in his Forza Italia party said on Wednesday.

One of the sources said the 84-year-old media mogul was hospitalized for follow-up checks after he contracted the corona virus last September.

Berlusconi underwent a major heart surgery in 2016 and also survived prostate cancer.
