GM pledged to double ad spend with black-owned media

DETROIT (Reuters) – General Motors Co (NYSE 🙂 on Friday said it would double its commitment to spend on Black-owned media to 4% of next year’s advertising budget with spend 8% by 2025.

GM has come under criticism from some black media leaders for not spending enough of the American automaker’s advertising budget on the black-owned media. GM said it will spend 2% of its annual budget this year on Black-owned media.
