What are peanut butter biscuits?

If you love natural peanut butter, you’ll love this cookie recipe. This is an easy-to-make snack recipe that you can quickly put together when you’re looking for a low-carb sugar-free snack.

To make the dough, mix some peanut butter, almond powder, eggs, sweetener, vanilla and baking powder in a bowl. Then form cookies and bake. You can enjoy these cookies in less than 20 minutes!

Is peanut butter a keto?

Yes, natural peanut butter can be eaten on the keto. Peanut butter is low in carbs and may also be low in sugar. BUT you need to pay attention to how much you eat. All nut butters are delicious, no one stops at just 1 or 2 tablespoons. Carbs in peanut butter may soon add up.

How do I choose the best peanut butter?

You’ll want to be a label ninja when you buy peanut butter because not all peanut butter is the same. Look for all-natural peanut butter with no added sugar. You want peanut butter with just peanuts, oil and salt.

What other nut butter can I use?

You can use almond butter but depending on your brand, it may have more or less oil and salt, so you may need more or less sweeteners and almond flour.

You can use tahini as a nut butters, but it will be very oily so more almond flour will be needed.

I wouldn’t use cashew butter. Cashew is one high-carb seeds.

You only need 6 simple ingredients. all of them can be found in your local grocery store. Simple, easy and affordable price.

Can I remove eggs from a cookie?

These cookies really need eggs to stick them together. When you’re no longer on the regular gluten-containing flour, you need the egg protein to turn it into a real cookie.

Many readers dislike eggs (or vegan) and want to use flaxseed, chia or psyllium “eggs”. I haven’t tried this yet, so if you do, please let me know in the comments.

What flours should I use to make low-carb peanut butter cookies?

I prefer to use it almond powder to make peanut butter biscuits because almonds enhance the flavor of peanut butter. While you can use peanut butter on the keto, you still want to limit the number of uses. Moderation is key.

Almond flour with the help of a little baking powder also gets you the amazing soft and crunchy texture you find in those really great peanut butter crackers.

How many low-carb sweeteners should I use?

TOP TIP: As with ALL of the recipes here, ALWAYS taste your dough BEFORE cooking to make sure you’ve added enough sweetener to suit YOUR taste. Read The ultimate guide to low-carb sweeteners.

If this is the first day of your sugar-free life for you, you may need twice the amount of sweeteners compared to someone who has lived sugar-free for years. So don’t be afraid to add more sweeteners. The longer you live sugar-free, the less sweetener you will need.

Why do I press down on keto cookies?

It’s important to press down and flatten your peanut butter cookies to make sure they’re evenly cooked. Your cookies will spread slightly when baked, but not enough to cook them evenly.

I like to use a fork to push the cookie down so that it leaves a nice criss-cross pattern at the top.

How do I prevent fork from sticking to my cookies?

It is important not to press down too hard with the fork. You just want to press just enough so that the cookie is flat, but you don’t want the dough to push over and stick out of the fork.

If the fork still starts to stick, try wiping the oil off the crackers on the fork with a towel. Refrigerating the dough in the refrigerator also helps to harden it and make it less sticky. If your biscuits are at room temperature warm, this will make them slightly sticky to press down.

Refrigerating the dough can be helpful if you have trouble getting the dough too sticky, but it’s not necessary. Usually, the dough is cooled down so that the biscuits don’t expand much during baking.

Since this recipe uses almond flour rather than the spread of flour, there weren’t many problems with this recipe. However, if you want to make the dough first, you’ll have to cool it until you’re ready to bake it to keep it from spoiling.

Should I use parchment on a baking tray?

I have found that lining the biscuits with parchment will help the peanut butter biscuits cook evenly and keep the bottom of the biscuits from burning.

It also keeps the cookie from sticking to the pan, so I recommend using it when baking.

How do I know if a keto peanut butter cookie is cooked?

You will know your cake is done when the edges start to brown. This is usually 10-12 minutes in the oven at 165C / 325F degrees in the oven.

When baking is finished, remove the cookies from the oven and let the cookies cool on the counter. Your biscuits should be soft on the inside, but also crumble easily.

Delicious biscuits can have these replacements from the basic cookie recipe. But please only do one replacement or they will turn out to be a completely different recipe and so I cannot guarantee they will turn out as shown.

Many of these alternatives have not been tested yet, so feel free to leave a comment below if you use these suggestions.

How do I store keto seed butter cookies?

If your cakes are out of date during the day, they should be stored in airtight containers or zippered bags on the counter for up to 3-4 days.

Alternatively, you can freeze them in sealed containers or ziplock bags in the freezer for 2 months. To thaw, take 1 or 2 of them and place them on the counter for 20 minutes.

Make sure the cake is completely cooled before storing. When a cookie is stored, the remaining heat in the cookie is retained and steam remains in the container. Enjoy!
