India’s daily number of COVID-19 cases rose to a record 346,786

NEW DELHI (Reuters) – India has released a record 346,786 cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours, while the number of daily deaths caused by COVID-19 has also risen to a record high, government data released on Saturday shows.

According to data from the Ministry of Health, the number of deaths increased by 2,624 to a total of 189,544.
