The police were called to their home on Ladyslipper Drive just after 7:30 am. They took Lee to the UMass Medical Center in Worcester, where she was presumed dead upon arrival.
While the police searched the house, they found her daughter’s body.
“Anytime you have a 12-year-old girl – it’s very difficult. It is very difficult for those who answer; They all have families, ”Early said at a news conference Friday.
Early said he believes the woman’s husband called 911. He said the father and son inside are not considered suspects.
Neighbors said the people living in this house were a nice family.
“I know the family that lives in that house – a very good family, that’s really all I know,” said neighbor Nancy Griffin.
“It was very shocking, you know. I guess it’s hard to take in at this point, ”said Abdullah Kazi.
