A MUM recounts her grief after her son, 17, was killed – when a 15-year-old boy was charged with murder.
Joshua Hall died after being hit was stabbed at a sports center in Gloucestershire in a “inanimate act” on Friday.
His family released a photo of the boy with his mother, Kirsty.
They said in a statement: “On Friday, at 1:25 pm on Friday, our lives changed forever.
“Our beautiful, charming, thoughtful, and kind soul Joshua Hall has suffered irreversible trauma.
“We want Josh to be remembered not because of this pointless act but for the love he has brought to life.
“Josh’s nature is inaccessible because of how special he is.
“He helped people in their darkest moments and their lives got better thanks to his presence.
“He always smiles to everyone and is very smart and kind.
“He left Kirsty’s mother, Michael’s father and Elijah’s younger brother.
“All who know Joshua will feel his loss, but the most important thing for his family is that he is remembered for nothing but love.
“The Josh family would like to thank everyone who left flowers, cards, kind words and beautiful memories of our son.
“Keep thinking about Josh and remember his smile.”
Police have charged a 15-year-old boy with murder, who will appear in court today.
Another teenager, 15, and a 20-year-old man were initially arrested on suspicion of murder, but they were released for investigation.
Joshua was seriously injured at the Cam Sports Club in Dursley, Gloucestershire.

He was taken to a hospital in Bristol with suspected stomach injuries but later died.
“Our thoughts are with the victim’s family and friends at this traumatic time,” a police spokesman said.
“They are currently being supported by specialist officers.”
