(Reuters) – Co-CEO of Netflix Inc (NASDAQ 🙂 Reed Hastings received $ 612.13 million from the exercise of his stock options in 2020, a year of bumper subscription growth for Video streaming giant.
The company, which passed 200 million subscribers last year as people searching for home entertainment during a lockout imposed by COVID-19, saw its shares rise more than 67% on year 2020.
Hastings bought more than 1.33 million Netflix shares last year exercising its stock call option, according to a filing.

The price at which the call can be exercised is specified in an agreement. The value of the stock when the purchase is made is variable.
