This one-pot noodle comes together pretty quickly on the stove, so it’s important that everything is chopped, measured and ready before you start cooking. First, you cook the artichoke cotton, take it out of the pan and simmer the chicken and remove it. Next is the vegetables, then you add water, lemon juice, pasta to cook for 10 minutes. Return the artichoke and chicken to the pan, cook for five minutes, then dinner is ready.

Tips for chicken artichoke noodles

Artichoke: I marinate the artichokes for a richer flavor. I cook them on the stove for 3-4 minutes in two batches. However, you can skip this step and simply add them to the pot according to the instructions in step 5.

Tomatoes in the sun: To keep fat to a minimum, choose unsalted sun-dried tomatoes, usually sold in bags and not jars. They will stay hydrated and plump when cooked with other ingredients.

This One Pot Chicken and Cavatappi Artichoke with sun-dried kale and tomato, flavored with lemon juice, garlic and oregano, is bursting with flavor.

  • Olive oil spray, (without aerosol)
  • first 14.5 ounce can Artichoke hearts split, drained
  • first pound tender chicken
  • 1-1 / 2 teaspoon Salt, more to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon just mashed peppercorns, more to taste
  • first small Onions, chopped, about 1 cup
  • 2 tbsp minced garlic, about 5 shrimp
  • first tbsp chopped fresh oregano vegetables, share
  • 2 ounce sun-dried tomatoes cut julienne, not in oil
  • 6 the cup Packaged shredded kale (about 4 ounces)
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice, about 1/2 lemon, add more to taste
  • 8 ounce Bottle opener, I used whole wheat
  • 2 ounce shave, (optional)
  • Heat a large non-stick pan (high side) over medium heat. Lightly spray olive oil in the pan.

  • In two batches, add the artichokes and charcoal until dark yellow – 3 to 4 minutes. Disk clean up.

  • Season the chicken with 1/2 teaspoon of salt and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper.

  • Spray more oil in the pan, place the chicken in the pan and cook for another 5 minutes, stirring half to cook. Move a plate and set aside.

  • Spray more oil in the pan, add onion, garlic and 2 teaspoons of oregano Cook, stir well, until onions are tender and golden, 4 minutes.

  • Stir in tomatoes and kale, sprinkle with 1 teaspoon salt and 1/2 teaspoon black pepper.

  • Add 2 tablespoons of lemon juice and 2 1/4 cup water, Stir the cavatappi and cook for 10 minutes.

  • Cut the chicken into 1 inch pieces.

  • Remove the shell, add the chicken and artichokes and stir fry. Reduce heat to medium-low, cover and cook for another 5 minutes or until pasta is cooked and chicken is reheated.

  • Serve with parmesan (if used). Left the oregano leaves, and add salt and black pepper to taste.
