The COVID-19 support allocation under the US Rescue Plan proved to be a point of significant partisan conflict between the Democratic administration and Republican governors. Spurred by partisan conflicts over the passage and implementation of the US Recovery and Reinvestment Act, this column suggests that resolving these disagreements will have significant consequences on the overall US Rescue Plan for the overall economy.
