Nimmo has reached the safety base at least twice in all eight matches the Mets have played. After hitting three singles on Wednesday, the best performer at smiling New York was 13 with 28 (.464) with eight walks during the season.

To replace Haseley on the roster, the team has recalled compatriot midfielder Mickey Moniak from an alternate position. First debuted by Philadelphia in 2016, the 22-year-old made his major league debut last September.
