NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – Sharon Osbourne made a comeback on TV Friday for the first time since leaving CBS ‘day program “The Talk”.
On HBO “Real time with Bill Maher, ”She spoke of her controversial exit after a heated chat online.
“I’ve been called on a lot in my life, I’m used to being called, but racism is something I won’t accept,” she said.
Then she said, “But disagreeing with someone doesn’t make you racist in my book.”
“No, of course not,” Maher said.
Osbourne left “The Talk” after arguing with co-host Sheryl Underwood.
At the time, Osbourne was defending British TV host Piers Morgan, who had faced a backlash over doubting Meghan Markle’s mental health claims.
