Officer Ray Wishropp was shot dead. Two other employees were injured.
On Friday, Stop & Shop announced a $ 500,000 donation to a fund that will benefit all those affected by the tragedy.
The Stop & Shop is also funding funeral expenses for the Wishropp family.

We also set up the West Hempstead Charity Foundation. Wishropp, of Guyana descent, is a 49-year-old father of seven.
Gabriel Dewitt Wilson, 31, was arrested in connection with the shooting. He is facing second degree murder and trying to kill.
