Julius Randle got 31 points and 10 rebounds, RJ Barrett added 25 points and 12 pounds, and the Knicks beat Toronto Raptors 120-103 on Saturday for their ninth straight win.

Derrick Rose has scored 19 points for the Knicks, the team with the longest streak of victories since the last 13 games of the 2012-13 season, when they won the Atlantic Division championship.

“We’re reaching the top, but we can still improve a lot,” Randle said. “Obviously we played attack well, but defending for the full 48 minutes, I feel we can be a lot better.”

The Knicks advanced to fourth place in the East Conference with 11 games remaining and improved to 21-10 at home, where a crowd of 1,981 fans was announced to sound louder at times of year when Basketball season usually ends at Madison Square Garden.

“Since the fans are back, winning here is amazing,” Barrett said. “They give us such a momentum and we really play hard together because we want to make them proud.”

Randle, on Wednesday’s performance 40 points against Atlanta, added 20 points on Saturday. The Knicks then opened a close game while he was sitting on the bench to kick off the fourth half and Barrett made great shots to knock out his hometown side.

“That’s the best part about our team,” said Knicks coach Tom Thibodeau. “Julius is our motive but we have a lot of motivators.”

Fred VanVleet and OG Anunoby each have scored 27 points for the Raptors, who are trying to win a fifth consecutive peak of the season. The day of the competition started at 11, a match after Washington rose to take the last spot in the East.

There were 14 lead changes in the first three quarters and neither team was leading more than nine, before the Knicks opened the fourth inning with a huge boom.

Obi Toppin achieved a 3-pointer pair in that 14-3 match, with the second making it 102-86 with 9:13 remaining.

Toronto never really came close and the Knicks won the season series for the first time since 2010-11.

Knicks finish from the field is 56%, from 3 points is 51.6% and foul is 83.3%.

“It’s strange. I told the team in the locker room, I said, ‘We really did pretty well,’ and then it didn’t work out, ‘said Raptors coach Nick Nurse. is, again, they created them, we didn’t create them. “

The Knicks shot 61% in the first half and opened their biggest opener 55-46 as Reggie Bullock netted his third consecutive treble. They lead 64-59 after halftime.

Pascal Siakam got 26 points for the Raptors but Kyle Lowry got 1 point 10, missing all 8 results 3 points.

TIP

Raptor: Chris Boucher missed his first game after suffering an MCL sprained on his left knee on Wednesday, an injury that would have left him off for at least a week. He is the only Raptors player to appear in all 59 matches. … Rodney Hood (right hip) missed the second consecutive match. He warmed up before the game before it was determined he wouldn’t play.

Knicks: Bullock scored 16 points.

DISEASES DANGER

With Stephen Curry rolling for Golden State and Russell Westbrook and Bradley Beal giving Washington seven straight wins, there are some teams that would be dangerous if they hold their place in the live tournaments.

Then came the Raptors, who had no such personal talent. But they finally got the core of the team – VanVleet, Siakam, Anunoby and Lowry – together back on Wednesday against Brooklyn for the first time since March 29, giving Nurse confidence that champions NBA 2019 may make noise from below if they keep trying to improve.

“The other night was our first step and we showed a few flashes in the end that we couldn’t wear hats far away,” said Nurse. “But I think we’ll need to grow in these next 12 games and if we do, then I think we’re hard to beat.”
