The SEC first released the issue of charging for fake ‘inside information’ on the darknet
America Securities and Exchange Commission has announced charges against James Roland Jones, California resident, of the first coercive action from the commission to target securities fraud on the darknet.
According to March 18 complaintJones allegedly visited a darknet-based insider trading forum in late 2016 to seek material nonpublic information, or MNPI, to trade securities.
