NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) Transport teams went out to patrol the potholes on Saturday.
Sixty crews quickly passed five counties to fill potholes on residential roads and highways.
True roads were defeated this winter because of snow and ice.
DOT officials say the teams have filled more than 65,000 potholes this year.

“It’s not just for car drivers and cyclists, but for all our street users, including pedestrians, Open Street participants, Restaurants Open, ”said New York City DOT Commissioner Henry Gutman.
DOT says the pothole peak season is from December to June.
Officials say the average response time to a request to fix a bug is about three days.
