A huge mosque with instructions in all languages. This is the largest mosque in Bahrain with space for 7,000 followers. Non-Muslims can also use it, but women should wear black robes. Headscarf must also! The interior of the mosque is absolutely impressive. Remember to follow the dress code before entering.

2. Bahrain National Museum

The museum is beautifully decorated, modern and truly educational. There are many representatives of old Bahrain life and temporary exhibitions. It features exhibitions from 5,000 years of history in 9 large halls. It is reimagined with life-sized characters, customs, traditions, and craft businesses. You can also find an art gallery with works by Bahraini artists.

3. The Lost Paradise of Dilmun Water Park

Both kids and adults love this place. The park is not too big but ideal for family time. The slide and the pool itself have brought so much fun to everyone. Things to do while you’re in Manama.

4. Bab el-Bahrain Souk

A visit to the market is a must when you’re in Manama. It was an experience, especially at night. This traditional market is located in the heart of Manama. You can find all kinds of stores selling spices, clothing and other traditional items.

Bahrain’s racetrack is worth a look, even when nothing happens. Even if you are not a fan of Formula 1, you will have an enjoyable experience here. But of course, for those who love motor sports, this is paradise.

6. Qal’at al-Bahrain

Qal in Bahrain is huge and a must-visit. The city can be dated back to about 2300 BC. There are plenty of great photo opportunities for ancient ruins against a modern city background.

7. Seef Mall – District Seef

First authentic shopping mall in Bahrain. It’s smaller than the City Center Mall but more locals come here. You can shop here for cheaper but beautiful things.

8. Royal camel farm

Here, you can see a lot of camels of all ages. You can pet and pet camels without any problems as they are very friendly and welcoming to tourists. What’s cool is they also look at the camera when you try to take a photo of them (or take a selfie with them), which is really cute!
